First, the communication is horrible!!! I never would have had as big of a problem if the line of communication was better. They were not ready for the JL when I placed my order. Jeetops/Autovation LTD should have noted this on their website. Instead of taking the full amount for the order, maybe they should have considered taking a deposit for JL tops and keep the consumer informed.
I placed the order for my tops in July 2018. They ran into some tooling issues and ultimately they were far from being ready to handle tops for the JL tops. I had to initiate contact regarding the status of my order. I requested a refund on August 8, 2018 and I was told I WOULD receive a refund, but I never did. A month later I called Chris and he said he would give me a refund less a credit card fee!!! He told me that was common sense, but I told him that when I return something at Lowes I get my full amount back, not less a credit card fee. Not to mention, during the conversation the fee went from $120 to $150. I was and I still am waiting for a full refund.
Chris wasn't necessarily rude to me until I started warning consumers. I left a review with the BBB recently. Chris responded to the review calling me a sociopath because I am telling everyone I can about my experience. I am not just going to let him take my money. I am not sure how I can mix up "we will get your refund going today," in response to my refund request. I asked for a refund and Chris agreed plain and simple. Almost six months later and I still do not have my money (over $1500). At this point, Jeetops/Autovation LTD stole money from me.

This man is very unstable. After my purchase he sent me a email no longer offering free shipping.

And now I’ve had to ask him to stop contacting me 5 times! Avoid!

So a buddy tagged me in this product and I was interested until I read the comments under it and how Chris the owner spoke to people who thought it was to expensive calling them *** and that they were talking out there ***... what kind of customer service is that..?

Recently, my 2012 Jeetops all of a sudden had a crack in the rear panoramic sunroof. I reached out to them via their site and Chris called me within 24-hours.

He took time and explained why the defect happened; it's very unfortunate for his business that Dow's people had him using the wrong product. Chris' client service was outstanding and he replaced everything using the proper sealer/adhesive. I couldn't be more pleased with the Jeetops product over the past five years, and with the client service we received when there was an issue. 100% satisfied.

I strongly recommend this sunroof for any Wrangler hardtop owners.

I purchased my 2014 rubicon in Feb 2015, the jeetops seemed nice as you could have open sky during the cold months.... but they showed small cracks, although they did not leak, they were a concern.

This is a rubicon, with warn winch, fab four bumpers and rock sliders, jw speaker lamps, heated leather seats and so on....no expense seemed to be spared. Now, less than a year later, they show multiple large cracks and it pours water. I spoke with Chris & he seemed nice enough but lacked the business sense to sustain a mutil millon dollar idea.

If dow is part to blame, then Chris should have eat the repair cost of unhappy customers and sought refund thru dow himself. Jeeps are forever, the potential was unlimited for this guy.

I Love my JeeTops, no cracks or leaks after 6 months. I live in the Pacific Northwest, and we get a lot of rain here.

I haven't had a single leak. I currently only have the Freedom Panels modified, but will get the main hard top done as soon as I can. I found the owner to be very easy to work with, the process of getting my Freedom Panels worked was smooth and quick.

I drive my Jeep daily in all weather conditions, and have never had a single issue. I'm going up into the mountains this weekend to put my new tires AND the JeeTops through the freezing cold and snow test.

Scam artist...planning on a class action lawsuit with at least 7 others. Told you, Chris. We're coming for you!!!!!

These tops are scandalous guaranteed to cause your jeep to be totally screwed up with rain and snow ruining a nice EXPENSIVE vehicle. Chris Hinrichs is a broke scam artist, so if you enjoy being ripped off and your Jeep ruined by all means go there.

The tops are awful and start to leak within the first year. I dropped off my top and after 7 months and many calls my top was repaired.The repairs lasted less than a year.

I tried to get them repaired again and I was told by Chris the owner that he is in a lawsuit with Dow and I should apply tape to the tops. Do not waist your money on this product. Jeetops should not be allowed to be in business.

Extreme waist of money and now I am stuck with a useless hardtop.

I have been knowing Christopher Hinrichs, who makes Jeetop, for three years. Chris is the only one person in his company .

He doesn't hire people because he doesn't want them to know his SCAM business. He has been bankrupt and broken for last two years. Therefore, he does his dingy, poor quality tops at front of his garage. I would say his tops were better when he used to make it in his storage.

Whenever it rains, he gets the complaints. I have contacted with his pissed off customers. In fact, I know he treats customers like a *** and he tries to not fix or refund as long as possible. Guys, before you purchase his non-sense expensive BS please research more about it.

You will find so much about him and his business!

Don't waste your money and time with this Pyshopath. I guarentee you that you will want your money back.

Same as the other really, really PO'd...Leaking, cracking tops (2nd Set BTW!) and no support from Chris. Yeah, "its Dow"..and I'm suing them"--heard that a few times.

And good luck with suing Dow--hahahaha. And, the same "get some carpet tape and put it over the top"...blah, blah, blah...Right now its raining and I just put my double thick tarp over the Jeetops to stop the screen door tops we have as it was outside parked at work all day while raining.

What you need to do it put the black spray stuff the guy on TV sells when he sprays it on the screen door he installed in the bottom of the boat and then gets in...that is the only answer..Maybe Chris will read this and recommend it next. Hahahahahahahaaa

Do not buy Jeetops for Jeep Wrangler they leak like crazy and Chris the owner will ignore your calls and emails when you have a complaint. When Chris would not answer my calls.I had pretend I was a customer looking to buy new Jeetops.

When he called me back I told him they where leaking he told me to fix them with silicone and he would get back to me. He has never returned my calls. He did return my emails but it was just to give me the run around.

He would not pay for shipping and told me he was waiting for new panels to come in. I had to buy new panels from Jeep myself to fix the problem.DO NOT BUY JEETOPS!!!!!
